Voice Tracking in RCS just doesn’t work.  

RCS has told us many different ways to use voice tracking.  Each time they have us try a different way, we have to retrain all our on-air talent.  

The idea with Voice Tracking in RCS Master Control is that the on-air talent will not need to time out their music segments.   Well, the only way we have gotten the Voice Tracker to work is to have them time out their hours.

In addition,  they can not have a Voice Track at the end of a music sweep into a break.... it will fade out their voice track.  This is because to use the Time-Stretch feature you have to place a Hard-ETM (Exact Time Maker)  which is designed to fade.  RCS has said that this is “just how it works” and has refused to program a Hard-ETM that does not fade.
